We really enjoyed meeting Megumi, Patricio and their lovely baby daughter Sayaka - they received us in their flat here in Quito, Ecuador and we spent a lovely evening with them. It was so nice to eat okonomiyaki again, one of my favorite Japanese dishes, specially prepared for us by a Japanese cook! We also tried Ecuadorian wine, actually a good one. Our hosts are both very interesting people so we really had great conversation and a great time with them, so I guess that Kitchhike served the purpose of bringing people together through food once again.
